M5 June 30th, 2026 William Optics 80mm f/6.9 ZenithStar Fluorite Doublet Apo -> ZWO ASI585MC Pro 214x10s shots fighting the moon and wet skies Much better than my attempt 20 years ago. Although if you pixel peep you may notice the radial elongation of the stars in the left hand side of the image which show me that I need to correct a physical tilt in the system. I'll have to look into that. |

M5 April 23rd, 2006 Orion 9.25 SCT -> Digital Rebel XT 12x45s shots at ISO 800 (Dark Applied) Really wet conditions and tracking wasn't the best so few good shots to use. I think I missed this one as it seems a bit flat. Globulars should take on more of a 3D look. |
